We are not a Reading room (designated 'quiet' spaces that one typically finds in libraries). But you are welcome to browse and explore any number of books at your leisure. If you are looking for community reading spaces, please ask us and we would be happy to share any information we have.

We do not currently host regular events at the bookshop. Our constraints include space and bandwidth. Exceptions are few and far between. But if you're looking to host an event around books/reading, please write to us with details and we will review and respond.

Unfortunately, we do not. We know what a treasure trove used bookshops can be. There are a few second hand bookshops in the city that you could sell/donate to, or buy used books from.

We wish you the very best for your book and your writing journey. However, we do not accept unsolicited requests to stock self-published books. 

Please call or write to us and we will update you if the book is on our list/in the store but not active on the website/not in stock but on order. Please note, however, that most of the books we choose to stock are difficult to source. They are rarely in stock locally or elsewhere in the country, and many are imported. We can never guarantee when we will receive the books (imports take several weeks) or even if we will. It's a gloriously unpredictable business. :)

Yes, we do. We offer Gift Cards in multiple denominations. Please note that we have two different types of Gift Cards - one is sold in the online store and is redeemable only in the online store; the other is sold via the physical store and is redeemable only in the physical store.

Gift Cards purchased in our online store are redeemable anytime. Please head here to choose your denomination and buy. The gift card with the unique code will be emailed to you. Partial redemptions are possible.

Gift Cards purchased in our physical store in Hyderabad have a validity of three years and are redeemable only in the physical store. Partial redemptions are not enabled on these Cards.

We ship books twice a week. Typically, the books should reach you within a week of shipping. Please note that there may, at times, be some unexpected delays on the part of our courier partners, which we can't control. We will, in such cases, keep you posted. You will receive tracking information once your package is on its way.

Books once purchased cannot be returned. In case of damage, please write to us at mybooks@lunabooks.in and we will address the issue.
