We are a family-owned and largely family-run bookshop.

Luna came about as a response to our own need as readers - keenly felt - of a bookshop that would make the effort to present a broad, but considered, offering.

Our objective is to provide consistent access to the very best among the millions of books that exist in the world (with more being foisted on us everyday!). We know that 'best' does not necessarily mean 'bestselling'. There are many wonderful books out there that simply don't get the marketing machines lined up behind them. But these are books worth reading.

The books on our shelves inevitably reflect our own reading personalities and preferences. This is what's interesting about independent bookshops - each one offers something unique.

We're supported in the store by our solid and dependable team, who work very hard to ensure that customers have a consistently good experience when they visit.
