We are a family-owned and largely family-run bookshop.

Luna came about as a response to our own need as readers, for a bookshop that would present a broad, but considered, offering.

Our objective is to provide consistent access to a range of good books, among the millions of that exist in the world (with more being foisted on us everyday!). We do not go by bestseller lists. There are many wonderful books out there that don't get the marketing resources lined up behind them. But these are books worth reading.

We are also staunch backlist readers. New releases do excite us but we try and balance this with the books that we believe have stood the test of time and will remain great reads always.

The books on our shelves inevitably reflect our own reading personalities and preferences, and what we enjoy curating.

We're supported in the store by our small but dependable team, who work very hard to ensure that customers have a consistently good experience when they visit.
