Persephone Books
Persephone Books reprints neglected fiction and non-fiction, mostly by women writers and mostly dating from the mid-twentieth century. As well as novels they also publish short stories, diaries, memoirs, poetry, gardening books and cookery books. Each title has an elegant grey jacket and a patterned endpaper. Since all Persephones look elegant but similar from the outside, we have chosen to feature here, as covers, the thoughtfully chosen endpapers that are unique to each book.
