Raag Darbari

Raag Darbari's plot is set in Shivpalganj, a small village located in Uttar Pradesh. The narrator Ranganath, a research student of History. Vaidyaji, Ranganath's uncle, is a highly corrupt official who dominates various village institutions. Things take a turn for Vaidyaji when efforts are made to bring him down from his influential position. The novel unearths the difficulties faced by the common man in the society at the hands of corrupt leaders.
